Hello!
We adopted Bruno (Lars originally) back in August 2022, and we can not express how much we love him. His personality shines through in everything he does. Wherever you are, he will be in the comfiest seat nearby, keeping an eye on you. Or he will simply decide that it is not close enough, and he will decide he needs to be on your lap (all 36 kilograms of him).
He will always let you know when it is walk time, food time or cuddle time! We live out in the countryside with regular walks in the forest or big open fields, but nothing beats the beach for Bruno. He will run and roll on the seaweed for hours if we let him. He is very picky about what weather he walks in. He refuses to walk in the rain, or if it is too muddy or cold out or when it is dark out. Winter walks are a constant negotiation with one exception – when there is snow outside, he is outside. In the summer, he charges up by solar energy and will drag his bed to the sunniest spot, moving it throughout the day to capture the most rays.
Ultimately, he is a dog who knows what he likes, and he very much likes the comfy life and a full belly. It is such a joy to be the one who gets to provide that for him. We love this stubborn goofball so much.
