Our group

Carina Olsson, president
Carina is the founder of the organisation. She has 2 Swedish rescue dogs, Milton and Wilma, and an Irish rescue dog, Lucky, from Dogs Aid. Carina grew up with dachshounds and has had lurchers and a lab x. She is a licensed dog trainer, vet nurse, and has completed courses on blood tracking and clicker training.

Carina used to be involved with Spanish rescue dogs and worked on neutering projects in Asia. Now she spends most of her free time helping Irish dogs to find new homes in Sweden.

Carina is the Swedish contact person for foster homes and rescues in Ireland. She arranges the flights and also rehomes Staffies and other unidentified crossbreeds.

Marianne Rundberg, board member Marianne Rundberg, board member Marianne has been working with horses and dogs for many years and used to breed German Shepherds. She is a dog trainer and has gained a lot of experience from her job as a vet assistant.

She has a Swedish border collie, and since she got involved with the organisation, she also adopted two border collies and a staffie from Ireland.

Marianne the contact person for all our border collies and financial questions.

Annelie Larsson, board member
Annelie is a lawyer who focuses on animal cruelty issues. She is also a dog trainer and a blood tracking instructor. Annelie has studied animal behaviour at the University in Stockholm, University of Linköping and at the Swedish University of Agriculture in Skara.
Annelie has two rescue cats and Ludwig, a Swedish poodle.

Annelie is a board member and helps with cruelty cases in Sweden and does home checks in her area.

Helena Fock, board member
Helena is one of our founder members and she has travelled to Ireland many times. Helena does a lot of work in the background carrying out vital support functions which keeps the organisation working efficiently.

Johanna Håkansson
Johanna is the contact person for all Swedish dogs we rehome. She is also a dog behaviourist and evaluates all Swedish dogs before we rehome them.
She has an English Staffordshire Bull terrier

Anneli Berglund
Anneli became involved when she adopted ‘Mix’ from us in November 2005. Mix was a surrendered collie x from Dunboyne dog pound. She helps organise our finances and does home checks. 
Anneli works with a prison project where prisoners get to spend time and socialise with different animals. Mix is a regular visitor to the prisons around Stockholm and he is very popular!
